Our Anchor Cottage is situated on a hill on the south side of the Anchor River, within walking distance of some of Alaska's premier salmon and wild, native, steelhead fishing. It is even a shorter walk to the beach. The 3 volcanos Augustine, Illiamna, and Redoubt present awesome viewing across Cook Inlet which is right out front.

The cottage is just a 20 minute drive from Homer, 20 minutes from the Village of Ninilchik, the Ninilchik River and Deep Creek. From here it is only an hour drive to Soldotna, the Kenai River and less than that to the Kasilof River and Clam Gulch.

The cottage is uniquely positioned to provide quick and easy access to much of the best of what the Kenai Peninsula in southcentral Alaska has to offer.

We have kept it heated in the past for winter get aways so it is set up for year round use.
