There is plenty of excellent fishing to be done in the area. Whether it's for king salmon in the early part of the year, silvers later in the summer, or steelhead in the fall the Anchor River provides exciting fishing.

You can also book a charter or launch your own boat into Cook Inlet at the tractor launch barely a 2 minute drive from the cottage door step. Drive 20 minutes and fish Katchemak Bay, Ninilchik RIver, or Deep Creek. An hour or less drive will have you fishing the Kasilof RIver or the Kenai RIver
